Warm Roof / Cold Roof
What is a warm roof? What is a cold roof? In this video I show a warm roof construction on a flat roof that has gone wrong, I show how a warm flat roof should be built and how a cold flat roof should be built.
The term “Warm Roof” acutely refers to the space under the roof insulation and not the roof itself. The same applies to the term “Cold Roof”. The choice of a cold or warm roof is normally dictated by the building on which the roof is going to be built. Warm flat roofs are by far the cheapest and easiest to install.

I need help! I have a flat roof over a bedroom that needs replacing. I live in Southsea,Portsmouth.
How do I find a reputable designer / installer of flat roofs? I have had one person who had come round and advised me that I need a cold roof. He did not mention ventilation !
