This roof was particularly dirty. We had to jet wash it off and then use a fungicidal wash before it was ready to paint with the solar reflective paint. Minor repairs to the asphalt were made using a liquid roofing system.
First we clean the old asphalt roof then we work on the old asphalt up-stands you can see we have replaced them with wood and straitened them out this will make the new flat roof look better but also make it easier for us to apply the SD650 liquid roofing system.
You must maintain your flat roof as blockages of the drainage system can cause big problems. Leaking flat roofs are often caused by water backing up and overflowing.
